In-School Tuition

Trusted Tutors has formed effective partnerships with schools in London and the South East. Together we deliver bespoke tuition programmes that address the needs of individual students whether one-to-one or in small groups. Similar to parents requesting tutors, we work with the schools to assist with students under their care where tuition provides a solution whether temporary or ongoing throughout the year.

This approach for schools ensures that every child can be educated no matter what the situation. A key part of our mission is to make sure that every child gets the best education they can.

Our process begins with an in-depth interview with a school representative to ascertain exactly what is needed. We then formulate a proposal and lesson schedule for the student/s to cater for the exact requirements. Upon agreement of the proposal with the school and all parties involved, the tuition commences. Progress is continuously monitored as well as the impact of the tuition itself. Trusted Tutors follows Safer Recruitment guidelines and safeguarding procedures. To see our Safeguarding and Child Protection policy go to ‘Our Policies’ page.

We invite any school to get in touch. Our partnerships are unique to each school we take on and it is of great importance to us that these relationships create a mutual and lasting benefit for the pupils in their care.

The primary goal of the programme is to provide targeted academic support to students, especially those who have fallen behind due to disruptions caused by the pandemic. It aims to narrow learning gaps and improve overall educational attainment.

Eligibility criteria vary depending on the guidelines set by the governing authorities. Generally, schools serving disadvantaged communities or those with a high proportion of students facing academic challenges are prioritized for participation.

The programme supports a variety of tutoring models, including one-on-one tutoring, small group tutoring, and online tutoring. The focus is on evidence-based approaches that have been proven effective in accelerating student learning.

Tutors participating in the programme undergo rigorous selection and training processes to ensure they possess the necessary expertise and skills to support students effectively. Training typically includes instruction on tutoring strategies, educational best practices, and cultural competency.

In most cases, tutoring services provided under the programme are fully funded, meaning there is no direct cost to students or their families. However, funding mechanisms may vary by region, so it’s essential to consult with school administrators or program coordinators for specific details.

Schools interested in participating in the program can reach out to their local education authorities or relevant government agencies responsible for overseeing education initiatives. These entities can provide guidance on the application process and requirements for programme participation.
